Adam Lowe is the founder and director of Factum Arte. Since it was established in 2001 they have used various forms of high-resolution 3D scanning systems to digitally record a number of endangered sites and objects of cultural importance
The team have worked with art institutions around the world including the British Museumand the National Gallery in London, the Prado in Madrid and the Louvre in Paris. They have also assisted a wide range of contemporary artists including Anish Kapoor, Grayson Perry and Marc Quinn.
Recently Factum Arte have been applying these new technologies to the preservation of natural forms.
Professor Miles Richardson
Miles is a Professor of Human Factors and Nature Connectedness, a chartered ergonomist, chartered psychologist and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors. He founded the Nature Connections Research Group at the University of Derby which has pioneered the first everyday interventions to bring about sustained increases in connection with nature and wellbeing.
Miles works with a number of national conservation NGOs, including the National Trust, RSPB, and The Wildlife Trusts. Miles also leads a work package on the £1.3 million Improving Well-being through Urban Nature project funded by the Natural Environment Research Council.
Ted Green is the founding member of the Ancient Tree Forum. From 1988 to 2003 he was the English Nature Conservation Consultant to the Crown Estate at Windsor.
He was awarded an MBE for his services to ancient trees and conservation.
Adam has over thirty years’ experience of directing large-scale Public Realm and Temporary Architecture projects all over the world. Past projects include the Hong Kong Handover Ceremony. He has technical-directed numerous iconic events for The Royal Household.
Adam was Senior Technical Director for the 2004 Athens Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Project Director for Chanel Mobile Art, Project Director for London Olympics Infrastructure on Horse Guards Parade and The Mall, and Senior Project Director for The Hive, the UK Pavilion for Expo Milano 2015, and its move the following year to Kew Gardens, London.
